Roovi property search with listings and a map on a desktop display

Overview

A B2C real estate platform that makes finding and comparing homes simpler.

Roovi brings property search, interactive maps, saved listings, side-by-side comparison, agent discovery and detailed property information into one connected experience. It was designed as a responsive web application that works the same way on desktop and mobile.

The challenge

Real estate products carry a lot of information: prices, locations, features, photos, agents. Most of it matters to the decision, and all of it competes for attention.

The challenge was to let people move between discovery, the map, detailed listings, saved homes, comparisons and agent profiles without losing context, so that a casual search could turn into a confident choice.

User flow connecting properties, agents, saved homes and resources

What I owned

I covered the complete UX/UI process, from the early product structure to high-fidelity responsive interfaces: user flows, information architecture, wireframes, property search, map interactions, property pages, agent profiles, saved homes and comparison tools. I also built the design system and prepared developer-ready Figma files.

How I approached it

I started by defining design goals, reviewing competitors and running user research, then moved through wireframes and concepts to UI design, testing and iteration.

The user flow became the backbone of the product: every entry point, whether a listing, the map or an agent, leads to the same property details and the same next steps.

Key decisions

List and map as one search

Search results and the map work side by side, so people can explore an area and the homes in it at the same time instead of switching between two views.

Comparison as a decision tool

Saved homes can be compared in one table: price, type, bedrooms, bathrooms, size, year built, lot, parking, HOA and key features. It turns a shortlist into a clear choice.

Agents as part of the journey

Agent profiles show experience, specialties and active listings, and they are reachable from the property itself, so contacting the right agent is the natural next step rather than a separate task.
